Isn’t light brilliant? Cycling around East Oxford these last few days
of warm Spring sunshine it amazes me to see the transformation in us.
Lots of people are actually singing! I suppose it comes from deep
within us - the innate joy at having survived another winter. The
birds are doing it too, albeit with more of a mission. I added my
voice to the many calling for the clocks to be shifted forward for the
entire year, which would give us an extra hour or light in the
evenings when more of us are awake to appreciate it. It would also do
us good environmentally, by reducing the amount of energy we use to
lighting our houses. It almost happened too! Maybe next year…
Visitwww.lighterlater.org if you’re interested. Either way, enjoy the
sunshine!
Sadly I won’t be - because I am holed up in the Storno-garage chipping
away at our new album. It’ll be worth your wait! Stay tuned for more
posts from the rest of the band - and see you at Applecart 3rd June!
